Johnny Dough’s Wood-Fired Pizza – Llandudno

Johnny Dough’s Wood-Fired Pizza – Llandudno

If you ever get the opportunity to visit the seaside town of Llandudno, make sure to stop by at the Johnny Dough’s pizzeria, to enjoy a delicious wood-fired pizza or two.

When you enter this rustic restaurant, you are immediately greeted by a warm atmosphere and the mouth-watering aroma of their wood-fired oven cooking fresh pizzas.

Their menu is split into two sections – ‘old school’ and ‘new school’. The old school menu includes classics such as Margherita, Pepperoni, and BBQ Chicken pizzas whereas the new school menu has some rather unusual pizzas such as the Goat’s Cheese (made from cheese from the Great Orme just a stone’s throw from the restaurant), and the Beetroot Pesto.

For just 50p, you can get extra toppings for your pizza. You can also get your pizza gluten free for just one pound extra. You can also get vegan cheese instead for free. There is also an ‘extra-spicy’ option with no extra cost. I will warn you however, one of my family members had an extra-spicy pizza and despite regular experience with spicy foods, he had trouble finishing his pizza!

Kids can make their own pizza for a more personal experience – a waiter will bring a blank pizza dough, cheese, some toppings, and a cup of sauce. Then their pizza will be taken into the oven, and the kids can enjoy their very own pizza.

You can order drinks from local Welsh breweries such as the Great Orme Brewery, the Wild Horse Brewing Company, and the Conwy Brewery.

It really is no exaggeration for the restaurant to say, ‘You always get a warm welcome at Johnny Dough’s’!
